Privacy in iPanic Extractor
iPanic Extractor reads the latest available panic-full from an iPhone connected by USB. The desktop application is designed to keep that step local and under the user’s control.
Local processing
The application keeps the panic-full local until the user explicitly selects Analyze. It does not add advertising or collect desktop telemetry, and stores only the selected interface language.
User-controlled transfer
Copy places the text on the local clipboard. Save writes the IPS file only to the selected location. Analyze transfers the original file over HTTPS using a short-lived, single-use link and prepares it in the web analyzer. The transfer does not start the diagnosis or consume a credit.
Temporary retention
An unclaimed transfer expires after 30 minutes. A successfully claimed file is deleted from temporary storage immediately. If the automatic transfer fails, the desktop application falls back to the local copy-and-paste flow.
Device identifiers
A panic-full can contain the device serial number or other identifiers. Review workshop and customer authorization requirements before sharing a log.
External help and support
If Apple Devices is missing, the application can open Apple’s public installation guide. Support requests use the iPanic Analyzer support channel and should initially include only the minimum information needed.
